The Jewish nation had become unfruitful. How does God feel about his people being unfruitful?

II. A PEOPLE PRODUCING FRUITS
The kingdom has fruits. What are the fruits of the kingdom? How do we become a people who produce those fruits?

1. Read Matthew 7:17-19 and John 15:1-5 together.
2. How does God respond to unfruitfulness in our lives? What do those verses say he does?
3. Is it good for God to act this way towards us? Can you rejoice at God’s work of pruning in your life?
4. Give an example of one place where He is pruning you to make you more fruitful.
5. How does the gospel help you endure the pain of pruning?
