Passage: Romans 8:22-30

Worship Folder

I. THE NECESSITY OF PRAYER
Paul connects hope with prayer. However, prayer is often a last resort. What do we do instead of praying? Why should prayer be the way we do life in a sinful, broken world?

II. THE DEPTH OF PRAYER
Our prayers are often flat because we do not pray from the appropriate depth. What are the depths of good praying? How does the Spirit help us to pray from these deep places?

III. THE WIDE-ANGLE LENS OF PRAYER
We struggle with prayer because we don’t know what we should be praying for. How does the Spirit help us with this? What is the wide-angle lens of all good praying?
