1. Where have you lost heart? What has you discouraged right now? How are you doing with it?
2. What is cynicism? Why is it so easy to become cynical? Is cynicism compatible with the gospel? (How is cynicism unbelief?)
3. What is God like (in reality)? What does this parable, and Luke 11:5-13, and the Call to Worship and Assurance of Pardon from this morning- what do all of these passages tell us God is like?
4. Jesus says, “Ask anything in my name and I will do it” (John 14:14). Why is that scary?
5. What is one thing you’ve stopped praying about that you need to start up again? Share that with your group.
