Women's Bible Study
Every Monday until November 15, 2021
6:30pm – 8:00pmCategory: Women's Ministry
We live in a time of uncertainty and change while we await the return of King Jesus to fully establish His kingdom in the new heaven and the new earth. But while we wait in a culture full of division, anger, and violence, how do we experience joy? How do we know what true love is? How do we love our family, fellow believers, and our neighbors? These questions are not new, in fact, these are the same questions with which the early church wrestled and the Apostle John addressed in his letter to the early followers of Jesus in 1 John.
You are invited to join the women of Redeemer this fall as we study the Apostle John’s letter to the early church and learn how to live a life full of joy remembering Jesus’ very words, “I have spoken these things to you so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete” (John 15:11). John also writes, “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers” (1 John 3:16). Come and enjoy gospel friendships as we study the book of 1 John together.
Monday nights (beginning September 20) from 6:30-8pm in the large classroom in Covenant Hall. If you're attending in person, please wear a mask to care for the group.
