Hurricane Michael Support

As I am sure you are aware, Hurricane Michael dealt a devastating blow to the Florida Panhandle. The brunt of the storm destroyed Mexico Beach and parts of Panama City. We have received word from pastors in the affected areas that a majority of homes are still without power, water, and sewer. The local churches are coordinating together to operate a food bank that has been providing resources for about 6700 people a day for the past couple of weeks.

We are appealing to you for a donation toward purchasing supplies for those affected by Hurricane Michael. We have been sent a list of items needed by our brothers and sisters in North Florida. The donations will go toward purchasing the items listed below in quantities given to us by our contacts in North Florida. Once the items have been purchased, a group of volunteers from Redeemer City and SW will deliver the items and spend some time assisting with the food bank. Please let us know if you have an interested in volunteering Thank you in advance for considering supporting this very worthwhile cause. You can drop off donations in the church office. We will be collecting donations through Wednesday, November 28. You may also make a financial contribution, please write "Hurricane Michael" in the memo line. The deacons will use that money to pick up remaining items needed.

Sincerely,

Redeemer Diaconate
