Advent Family Worship- Day 2

Begin by singing “O Come, O Come Emmanuel”

Light the first Advent candle and ask, “What was our theme from last week?” The answer is JOY.

Light the second Advent candle and ask, “What is our theme this week?” The answer is FAITH.

Light the third Advent candle and ask, “What was our theme this week? The answer is LOVE.

Read Revelation 21:1-5 together. 

• Q. What do you think God means when he says, “I will make all things NEW” (Rev 21:5)? (Use Rev 21:3-5 to answer the question. What kinds of things does God say will happen when he makes all things new?)

Read 2 Corinthians 5:17.

• Q. In 2 Cor 5:17, Paul says that if you believe in Jesus, you’re a new creation. What do you think that means?
• Q. How is God making you new?
• Q. In what ways do you still feel like your old self? (How do you need God to change you still?) Stop and pray.

Ask Jesus to come again quickly to make all things new.

End by singing “Come Thou Long Expected Jesus”
